What we're building

Short-form story content is one of the most-watched formats on YouTube Shorts and TikTok. The tools to produce it professionally have historically required expensive software, voiceover work, and hours of editing. CreatorDrop automates the entire production pipeline — from raw text to finished vertical video — so creators can focus on finding and writing great stories.

The technology

The pipeline is built on Claude (Anthropic) for story analysis and scene optimization, Nano Banana 2 for character-consistent image generation, Inworld TTS-1.5-Max for emotion-aware text-to-speech with 12 curated voices, and FFmpeg for video assembly. Each step is orchestrated through Inngest and runs entirely serverless.

Character consistency — one of the hardest problems in AI video — is achieved through a two-pass LLM pipeline combined with reference portrait generation and an optional vision judge that verifies face match quality before the video is assembled.

Creators who have great stories but not the time or budget for traditional video production. Channels that post Reddit stories, horror fiction, true-crime narratives, or personal essays — and want a reliable, consistent output pipeline they can trust.
